Last year I read this amazing book called “Mrs Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children” by Ransom Riggs. It was his debut novel and I just fell in love with it! I have a thing for spooky little stories. This one ticked all the boxes. Easy to read and follow. Things happen and it stays entertaining. And best of all Mr Riggs decided to ad some pictures to his book. These aren’t any ordinary pictures. They are vintage once from collector’s and all of them have something peculiar about them. The story is catchy and a little spooky. I was very disappointed when the book was finished, but I got very excited two weeks ago when I saw the sequel to the book came out at the start of the year and is called “Hollow City”! Can’t wait to get some time to sit down and read it!
I do enjoy a good read!
