Fit Challenge

MS Ireland created a new challenge for some desperate needed funding. The challenge: Galways fittest workplace! During the month of January teams of four will train and battle to become the fittest workplace in County Galway. This is a great idea for a fundraiser. So thought my workplace as well and signed up two teams. We are training now in the King Fisher's Gyms. They created different training plans to get us fit for the big Challenge Final on the 28th of February! So we are on week two and I think it is quite hard, especially after the holidays. But we were told today that the easy weeks are over and from next week on it will really challenging! Oh poor us! BUT it is for a very good cause!

Makeup Inspiration

Being sick and in bed all week made me look through a lot of my old images. I came across this one here which was created with a lot of inspiration. Last year during the winter time Marie Antoinette, the fashion and style around  inspired me quite a lot and I started messing with makeup! Here are some of the inspirations and the finished look.

Stockholm

Being sick in bed makes me look through all my old pictures. It's a little throw back and I landed back in Stockholm. A friend and I went off to this beautiful city during the summer of 2007, just before I moved to Ireland! I have to say that this was one of the best Holidays ever. Not just that I worked very hard to pay it all myself, but we just had a fantastic time exploring this wonderful city during the summer month! I think I should plan another trip there for more photography!

Health - Vitamin C

Well I am sick in bed for the whole week now! Time to load up on lots of Vitamin C and fresh air to sleep better!

Happiness

We can have a fulfilled and very happy life, but there will always be bad and dark moments. It  depends on how we deal with them and who we can call on for support to get through these dark moments. Don't let yourself get down! Believe in yourself and the people around you!

Swarovski

It is time for some sparkle! And who can make better sparkles then Swarovski? I love these beautiful bracelets! So much that I have two by now! I got my first one two years ago, when I was going to a wedding and needed some nice accessories to match my dress. The bracelets wrap around your wrist and closes with two crystal buttons. They are made out of a super soft and light microfiber, which makes them extremely comfortable to wear. The bracelet is featured with clear crystals all over. The whole design will suit all kinds of looks and outfits!

This lovely look was recently published in Scorpio Jin! I am glad to see this amazing image pop up again. Our model on the day was the lovely Laydiane and our photographer Paul Cooley! You can call this one of my signature looks! I love a dark green smokey eye!

Home - Flowers

I love to brighten up my home and what is better then to have nice flowers (that you might even got as a present) to do so!? I got these lovely roses from my boyfriend after I got back from holidays and I just love them! (years of nagging helped in the end)
I put my lovely flowers into this plain, but very nice vase from IKEA. To pretty it up a little more I just tied a ribbon around the neck of the bottle and I think it makes it a unique DIY piece!

Was gibt es schoeneres als sein eigendes Haus ein wenig aufzufrischen und dann auch noch mit Blumen (die man vieleicht geschenkt bekommen hat?)?! Ich habe diese wunderschoenen Rosen von meinem Freund bekommen, als ich aus meinem Urlaub wieder kam! (Jahrelanges genoergel hilft also doch)
Meine schoenen Blumen sind dann auch gleich in diese IKEA Vase gelandet, die zwar ein wenig einfach ist, aber immer noch schoen. Um die Vase ein wenig aufzupeppen habe ich noch einfach eine Schleife drum herum gebunden. Tada! Ein kleines DIY Projekt, was einfach ist und schoen aussieht!

Fruit in Season - Lychee

Lychees are a sweet flavored and absolutely delicious fruit! It seems like they pop up every winter time and they are so good for you! Nine Lychees have the daily amount of Vitamin C that is recommended for an adult. Great to keep your Vitamin levels up during the winter time!

Lychees sind suesse und sehr leckere Fruechte, die immer wieder im Winter auftauchen. Super gesund, gefuellt mit Vitamin C, sind sie sehr gut um Vitamine ueber den Winter auf dem Laufenden zu halten.
