2015 - Happy New Year

That is how fast it can go! 365 days of 2014 are nearly over and we are heading towards the New Year 2015! I wish everybody a happy and healthy new year with lots of luck and success! And like every year everybody has lovely plans for the new year, but most of the time they are forgotten by week two of January. I want to have some small but doable new years resolutions for 2015, in the hope that I will stick with them!

1 I want to be more active again and change my diet completely to Keto

2 I want to spend more time with my family and good friends

3 spend more days being creative

4 do good things for others

I hope everybody has a good and healthy start into the new year. Celebrate and take it easy!

So schnell kann es gehen! 356 Tage von 2014 sind dann schon wieder vorbei und wir steuern 2015 an! Ich wünsche euch allen ein Frohes und Gesundes neues Jahr, mit ganz viel Glück und Erfolg. Und wie jedes Jahr macht bestimmt jeder wunderschöne Vorsätze die er auch unbedingt einhalten will, aber diese meistens in der zweiten Januarwoche aufgibt. Ich setzte mir dieses Jahr mal ein paar kleine Vorsätze, in der Hoffnung, dass ich sie auch gut einhalten kann.

1 ich will wieder mehr Sport treiben und komplett auf Keto umstellen (Diät)

2 viel Zeit mit guten Freunden und Familie verbringen

3 ganz viele Tage kreativ verbringen

4 gute Dinge für andere tun

 

Ich hoffe alle rutschen gesund und munter in das neue Jahr! Feiert schön und lasst es nicht zu sehr krachen, zu liebe der Tiere!

Berlin Lights

If you are from Berlin or a visitor in this season, then there must be one thing on your "to do" list. And that is to have a lovely walk around the City and see all the beautiful lights that are up and decorat the streets. One place to do it best is the Potsdamer Platz. The Sony Centre, the Potsdamer Platz Shopping Centre and the streets around this area are enchanted with beautiful lights and are just amazing to see. And if it gets very cold you can warm up again on the local Christmas Market with some Mulled wine or some hot chocolate.

Nun wenn ihr in Berlin wohnt oder Urlaub macht, dann muss in dieser schönen Winterzeit eins auf eurer „to do“ Liste stehen. Und zwar ist das ein schöner Spaziergang durch die Stadt und die wunderschönen Lichter betrachten, die es überall zu sehen gibt. Ein toller Ort dafür ist der Potsdamer Platz. Das Sony Center, die Potsdamer Platz Arkaden und die Straßen drum herum sind mit vielen verschiedenen Lichtern geschmückt und einfach nur wunderschön zu betrachten. Auf dem lokalen Weihnachtsmarkt kann man sich dann mit einem Glühwein oder einer heißen Schokolade wieder aufwärmen!

Snow Wonderland

A must in the wintertime is snow and sadly that is not always the case in Ireland, but in Germany it is. I landed on the 26. in Berlin and little snowflakes came from the sky. I love snow and was very happy about the little surprise. Now it wasn’t much, but more then in Kinvara and it gave me the perfect opportunity to take some nice pictures of now and not always rain!

Im Winter muss es schneien und leider tut es das nicht immer in Irland, aber hier in Deutschland tat es dann doch als ich am 26.12. eingeflogen bin! Ich hab mich ja wie ein kleines Kind gefreut, auch wenn es nicht viel Schnee war, aber es war mehr wie wir in Kinvara bekommen würden! Und jetzt ist es auch schöne kalt hier in Berlin und darüber freue ich mich auch. Da kann man endlich mal andere Fotos machen, wie im Regen!

Have a Merry Christmas!

I would like to wish everyone a very merry and peaceful Christmas! Hope you all have a wonderful time with your loved once and that everybody got something nice from Santa! We had a lovely Christmas Eve with lots of German traditions in our house and today it will all continue with more traditions from all over the world and a massive Christmas dinner with a very big family!


Ich moechte allen ein frohes und friedliches Weihnachtsfest wuenschen! Ich hoffe alle haben eine wunderschoene Zeit im Kreise eurer Lieben und das der leibe Weihnachtsmann ganz fleissig war! Wir hatten ein schoenen Weihnachtsabend mit ganz vielen deutschen Traditionen und heute geht es dann weiter mit mehr Weihnachtsfeiern und verschiedenen Traditionen, die die Familie zumsammen bringt! Ein grosses Essen erwartet uns auch noch!

Our cats are happy too! Got some leftovers from last nights dinner and now all this paper and boxes! The day can't get better!

Unsere Katzen sind auch gluecklich! Erst gab es Reste vom gestrigen Essen und jetzt auch noch ganz viel Papier und Kisten! Der Tag kann kaum besser werden!
